Chocolate Bacon Candy Bars

Chocolate. Bacon. What else do you need?
Chocolate. Bacon. What else do you need?

Just in time for Valentine’s Day comes Chocolate-covered Bacon candy bars. Who can resist the sweet, smoked sensation of rich chocolate covering salty bacon? It’s two of God’s favorite foods coming together in a match truly made in heaven.

Thanks, Ma, for the link. I’m adding a new category to the blog just for bacon related entries. I feel certain there will be more as bacon is something of a fetish of mine.

  1. My goodness, 2 of my favorites in one snack! You know my philosophy – bacon and cheese can make any food better, so we should suggest the addition!

  2. Yo, Chuck, you do seem to have a bit of an obsession with bacon. Seems like you might be venturing into uncharted psychological territory here, but at least you clearly aren’t the only one!

  3. Speaking of convenience stores, I think someone needs to start a Slim Jim movement. It may not have quite the same quality as bacon but there is some kind of attraction there. Chocolate covered Slim Jim, maybe?

    On second thought, maybe not.

  4. Do you have my recipe for Pig Candy? Cut bacon slices in half crosswise. Dredge each thickly in brown sugar. Place slices on a greased wire rack set inside a foil-lined broiler pan. Sprinkle very lightly with cayenne pepper. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes or until very brown and very crisp. Yum, yum.
